Arc Raiders Wires and Batteries Locations

Guides

Scavenging for wires in Arc Raiders can feel like searching for sparks in a scrapyard-rare, valuable, and always in demand. Here’s where players can reliably track them down and keep their gear powered for the next battle.

Wires are obtained from crates, containers, shelves, drawers, computers, servers, and so on in areas marked as containing Electrical and Technological loot. Here’s a brief rundown of the best spots to search for Wires on each map:

  • Dam Battlegrounds: Research & Administration, Control Tower, Power Generation Complex, Electrical Substation.
  • Buried City: Space Travel, Research.
  • Spaceport: Arrival Building, Departure Building, Launch Tower, North Trench Tower, South Trench Tower, Fuel Control, Control Tower A6.
  • The Blue Gate: Pilgrim’s Peak, Reinforced Reception, Ancient Fort.
  • Stella Montis: Sandbox, Eastern Tunnel, Western Tunnel, Assembly Workshops, Medical Research, Assembly, Lobby.

You can also buy Wires from the trader Celeste back in Speranza between runs. Each of the Wires costs four Assorted Seeds, and there’s a limited stock of 10 per day.

Lastly, you can also recycle specific items in your inventory when you’re back in Speranze to obtain Wires. Here’s a quick list of loot that coughs out Wires when recycled:

  • Processors
  • Sensors
  • Humidifiers
  • Acoustic Guitar
  • Cooling Fan
  • Damaged Heat Sink
  • Power Bank
  • Power Cable
  • Projector
  • Toaster
  • Voltage Converter

How to get Batteries in Arc Raiders

You get Batteries in Arc Raiders from the same general sources as Wires, but they’re a bit rarer and more RNG-gated.

Main ways to get a Battery

  • Loot containers in Technological and Electrical areas (same icons as for Wires) such as Control Tower, Research & Administration, Power Generation Complex, and Field Depots on Dam Battlegrounds.

  • Focus on small substation/shed-like buildings around big power stations; they often have 1-2 searchable containers and are a common place players report finding Batteries.

  • On later maps, check tech-heavy POIs like Space Travel and Research (Buried City) and Fuel Control/Towers (Spaceport) for similar tech containers and computers.

Items to salvage into Batteries

You can break some rare electronics down into a Battery (plus Wires) via salvage.

  • Examples include Power Banks and other rare electronic devices from Electrical/Residential/Commercial areas; salvaging them can yield a Battery.

  • To salvage, right-click the item in your inventory and choose the salvage option; the item instantly converts into component materials.

Buying Batteries

If RNG is bad, you can simply buy one.

  • The trader Celeste in Speranza sells both Wires and Batteries for Seeds; this is a guaranteed but more expensive option, and may require you to reach a certain level before Batteries appear in her stock.

Trash into Treasure quest note

  • For Shani’s “Trash into Treasure” quest, you only need one Battery plus six Wires; Wires usually come first, so expect the Battery to be the bottleneck.

If you tell me which map you’re running (Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, or Spaceport), I can suggest a quick loop that maximizes tech/electrical containers for better Battery odds.

Best farming routes for batteries on Dam Battlegrounds

On Dam Battlegrounds, the most consistent battery farming routes all revolve around the Hydroponic Dome Complex plus one or two nearby POIs that also have lots of tech/electrical containers.

Route 1: Hydroponic Domes → Lawn Dome → Extract

  1. Spawn as close as possible to the Hydroponic Dome Complex in the forest region. Head straight for the cluster of dome-like greenhouses. Check every shelf, crate, toolbox, and green storage bin inside each dome; Batteries and Industrial Batteries are often tucked inside or on shelves.

  2. Don’t skip the small “side” domes or lawn dome next to the main complex-players frequently report finding batteries there, sometimes even before entering the main Hydroponic Dome.

  3. Once you’ve cleared all domes, extract at the nearest hatch. This is a fast, low-risk loop you can repeat, and it’s ideal if you only care about batteries and not general loot.

Route 2: Hydroponic Domes → Scrapyard → Power Generation

  1. Start at Hydroponic Dome Complex and fully clear it as above. Prioritize shelves, workbenches, and any tech/electrical containers first so you grab high-value items before PvP shows up.

  2. Rotate to the Dam Scrapyard. Hit all stacked junk piles, toolboxes, and small green bins; guides and clips show consistent battery drops here when farming Industrial Batteries.

  3. If you still have time/space, push on to the Power Generation Complex. Sweep interior hallways, control rooms, and exterior generator/electrical panels-these areas are strong for all electrical loot and can round out a run with extra batteries and wires.

Route 3: Blue Gate Warehouse Loop (alt farm)

  1. Queue for a match where you can reach The Blue Gate quickly, then head to the Warehouse area there. Community reports point to this warehouse as one of the best Industrial Battery farms on the map.

  2. Inside the warehouse, clear every row of shelves and all green containers/bins before moving on. Batteries are usually mixed in with other mid-tier loot, so you’ll want to loot thoroughly rather than sprinting through.

  3. Extract once the warehouse and any adjacent storage buildings are clear, or rotate to a nearby tech POI like Field Depots if you still want more loot and can risk PvP.

Tips to improve battery yield

  • Run during night or special events (Cold Snap / EM storms) when possible; some guides note better loot density during these conditions on Dam Battlegrounds.

  • Always prioritize tech/electrical containers (computers, server boxes, green bins, electrical cabinets) and salvage any rare electronics like power banks or industrial chargers back at base for extra batteries.

  • If RNG is awful, buy missing batteries from Celeste at Speranza to finish upgrades or quests, then go back to these routes when you want to stockpile.

If you tell me whether you prefer mostly PvE or don’t mind heavy PvP, I can narrow this down to a single “safest” or “sweatiest” route.
