Arc Raiders: Finding Laboratory Reagents Guide – Locations Loot Spots

Guides

Hidden deep within Arc Raiders’ medical zones, Laboratory Reagents are the key to crafting advanced gear and survival tools. Knowing where these rare chemicals are stored-and how to safely extract them-can mean the difference between thriving and barely scraping by in your next expedition.

As the in-game description suggests, they are found in areas marked as containing Medical loot, but that leaves a lot of buildings, containers, and drawers to open. In this guide, we’ll walk you through where to find Laboratory Reagents in Arc Raiders.

How to get Laboratory Reagents in Arc Raiders

Laboratory Reagents appear in Medical Areas across the map, such as hospitals and clinics marked by medical symbols. Search cabinets, shelves, and tables inside these buildings for small vials or containers labeled as reagents. Raiders sometimes carry them, so check defeated enemies nearby. Use a scanner to highlight potential loot spots before entering. Stock up during raids when these areas spawn frequently.

To find Laboratory Reagents in Arc Raiders, you’ll need to search through Medical areas and buildings. More specifically, the upper floor of Testing Annex in Dam Battlegrouds is prime Laboratory Reagents territory. A single visit is almost guaranteed to cough up the three needed for the Explosives Station III upgrade. You also easily extract from the Red Lakes Balcony Lift.

They are found in containers, drawers, and cupboards as well as on research stations, desks, and pretty much any other surface out in the open, making them reasonably easy to spot. Keep your eyes peeled for greyish plastic bottles. However, be careful not to confuse them with Antiseptic or Crude Explosives, which look similar.

There are other options. In Buried City, the Hospital is a good alternative, especially the upper floors, which spawn Laboratory Reagents fairly reliably. If the Hospital is too busy, the Farmacia building near Piazza Arbusto, which you’ll visit for the A Reveal In Ruins quest, is worth a visit too. Testing Annex is less of a hot spot and close to quite a few spawn points, so it’s the one to go for if you want a quick in-and-out run.

Best route to farm Hospital in Buried City safely

The safest consistent Hospital farm in Buried City is a fast, “one-pass” route that approaches from cover, clears only what is necessary, prioritizes vertical control, then exits via Northern Station or Plaza Rosa.

Overall route idea

  • Treat Hospital as a drive-through: go in once, loot fast, then leave instead of looping back and re-engaging squads.

  • Aim to approach from the south or west (Research / Parking Garage side) so you use buildings and alleys as cover instead of crossing open northern streets.

Approach to Hospital

  • From southern spawns, move through Plaza Rosa → Buried Properties → swing wide to the Hospital, avoiding Town Hall/Space Travel fights on the way.

  • From western spawns, cut through Parking Garage, loot a few cars, then enter Hospital via the lower side doors, using the garage as a safe fallback if you get pressured.

Inside Hospital: safe path

  • Start at a lower entrance, clear the first floor corridors, then move stairwell-to-stairwell, looting every room on one side only to keep orientation simple.

  • Avoid long peeks into the main atrium; instead, snake through side rooms, nurses’ stations, and storage areas where Laboratory Reagents and blueprints tend to spawn.

Rooftop and high-value spots

  • If you brought a zipline, place it from a nearby roof or highway edge to the Hospital roof, loot weapon crates/lockers there, then descend via internal stairs rather than re-exposing on the roof edge.

  • Only contest the roof if there is no obvious fighting there; it is strong for vision but an easy third-party target if other squads already set up.

Safe extraction options

  • Use Northern Station if you already reached the upper floors; one of its entrances is inside or right next to Hospital, which lets you bail quickly with loot.

  • If Northern Station looks camped or too noisy, backtrack through the south side and rotate to Plaza Rosa extract, which has a more controllable one-sided entrance.

If you share which side of Buried City you struggle with most (north/east/south/west spawns), a more specific, step-by-step line can be laid out for that spawn.

Best loadout for safe Hospital farming in Buried City

A safe Hospital farm in Buried City leans on a mid-range rifle or DMR plus a strong close-quarters option, backed by lots of shields, bandages, and mobility tools.

Weapons

  • Primary: a reliable mid-range rifle/DMR (e.g., Ferro/Anvil-tier or equivalent) for clearing streets and long Hospital corridors without overexposing.

  • Secondary: a fast-handling SMG or shotgun for tight stairwells, rooms, and sudden PvP inside the building.

Armor and shields

  • Armor: medium or heavy armor with good durability so you can tank one bad peek while retreating through corridors.

  • Shield: medium or heavy shield, plus at least 8-10 Shield Rechargers so you can reset between floors and avoid dying to chip damage while looting.

Healing and stamina

  • Carry a stack of bandages (or sterilized bandages) dedicated just to this run; do not be stingy with them after fights on each floor.

  • 2-4 Adrenaline or similar stamina shots help you sprint between covers, push stairs safely, and hard-disengage if another squad collapses on the Hospital.

Tactical gear and utilities

  • 2-3 smoke grenades to break line of sight when crossing the atrium or exiting toward Northern Station/Plaza Rosa extracts.

  • 2-3 offensive grenades or Wolfpack-style explosives for quickly deleting ARC clusters or punishing squads camping stairwells and doorways.

Quality-of-life choices

  • One safe pocket slot reserved for your highest-value meds/materials so a bad wipe does not completely kill your progress.

  • Favor recoil/ADS-stability and looting-speed augments over pure damage; surviving and extracting consistently from Hospital is worth more than a minor DPS gain.

If you tell which guns/armor you currently have unlocked, a more tailored, item-by-item Hospital kit can be suggested.
