Arc Raiders A Better Use Quest Supply Drops Call Stations Location Guide

Guides

Stuck on the A Better Use quest in Arc Raiders? Master the Supply Drop request to turn the tide against relentless Raiders.

As with most things in Embark’s extraction shooter, Call Stations have fixed spots on each map but aren’t guaranteed to show up every run, making them a little tricky to track down consistently. Worse yet, they are flimsy, spindly structures that don’t necessarily stand out as you explore topside. In this guide, we’ll explain how to request a Supply Drop from a Call Station to complete the Arc Raiders A Better Use quest.

How to request a Supply Drop from a Call Station in Arc Raiders

Approach a Call Station in the game world during the A Better Use quest. Interact with it by pressing the prompted key to open the interface. Select the Supply Drop option from the menu, confirm your choice, and mark the drop location on your map. The station will call in the supply crate, which arrives after a short timer. Head to the marked spot to collect it before it expires.

First, you’ll need to locate a Call Station. They appear on all maps, but Dam Battlegrounds houses far more than any other, making it the best option for this quest. It also tends to be quieter and less PvP-heavy, giving you some breathing room.

Check the image above for all the Call Station locations on Dam Battlegrounds, which is also prime territory for finding Laboratory Reagents. As above, they don’t appear in every raid, so you may need to check a few spots before you find one. When you’re near a Call Station, you’ll see an icon on the map, but this is only when you’re virtually on top, so it’s not all that useful.

A Call Station consists of a standalone antenna that extends upward into the sky and a small electrical box at its base, along with a white flashing light positioned on the antenna’s highest point. Don’t confuse them with the EMP trap in the Arc Raiders Straight Record quest. Interacting with the prompt on the box will call in a Supply Drop.

After a lot of noise, a flare will shoot up in the sky, letting other players know what you’re up to, so be on your guard for opportunistic meddlers. Roughly 20 to 30 seconds later, the Supply Drop will appear in the sky, guided down to the ground by a balloon parachute not far from where you made the request.

Keep your eyes peeled on the sky around the Call Station. The drop resembles a metallic rocket head with a distinctive artisanal design that contrasts with the sleek shielding of the Arc robots. You’ll need to breach and search the drop once it lands to access the loot inside.

Best weapon loadouts before calling a supply drop

Use a free loadout before entering the map to ensure strong starting weapons for defending against alerted enemies and ARC machines after calling the supply drop.

Opt for high-damage rifles like the baseline assault rifle or marksman rifle paired with a shotgun for close-quarters defense around the call station. These handle raider rushes and machine swarms effectively during the 45-second flare timer.

Secondary and Gear

Pair with a fast-firing SMG as secondary and equip throwable grenades like Wolfpack for crowd control, as supply drops often yield similar high-value items. Prioritize medium armor and ample ammo to sustain fights until the drop lands.

Loadout Strategy

Drop into Dam Battlegrounds with elevated positioning in mind-scout call stations first, then kit up from ground loot if needed to top off before interacting. This setup maximizes survival against the incoming threats.

Which loadouts pair best with Wolfpack Grenade

Wolfpack Grenades excel against ARC enemies in Arc Raiders due to their homing rockets, making them ideal for crowd control during supply drop defenses when machines swarm.

Primary Weapon Pairings

Pair with high-rate fire weapons like Anvil IV assault rifles or Renegade for sustained ARC damage after tossing Wolfpacks-their rapid fire cleans up weakened groups. Hullcracker or Jupiter launchers complement by bursting tougher targets like Rocketeers that survive the grenade’s up to 1,992 damage output.

Secondary and Utility

Use Tactical MK.2 SMGs for close-range follow-ups and medium/heavy ammo stockpiles (160+ heavy, 320 medium) to maintain pressure without reloading mid-fight. Add Light Shield, 10 Shield Rechargers, bandages, and Adrenaline Shots for survival, plus optional Seeker Grenades to stack anti-ARC homing effects.

Situational Loadout

For trials or drops in Dam Battlegrounds, include 3-6 Barricade Kits and ziplines for positioning, focusing Wolfpacks on priority ARC threats while primaries handle raiders. Smoke Grenades help reposition safely post-throw.
