Reach the Su Durante Warehouses in the Outskirts of Buried City
Head west through the Buried City outskirts until you reach the Su Durante Warehouses, marked by rows of large shipping containers and broken cranes. Expect resistance from ARC patrols guarding the entrances, so clear the area before exploring. The cache is hidden near the main loading bay, behind a collapsed storage unit near the northern wall. Use the scattered cover to avoid detection and approach from the elevated catwalk for a better line of sight.
First off, load into Buried City. A Free Loadout will do the job here, as there’s nothing you need to loot and stash away in your Safe Pocket. There’s no need to waste your best weapons or gear on this quest.
Make your way over to the Su Durante Warehouses, which are located in the northwest of Buried City, northwest of the Library and Hospital buildings, and southwest of the Gas Station. Fingers crossed your spawn isn’t down by the church on the other side of the map. Entering the area around the Su Durante Warehouses from any direction will complete this starting objective.
Search for Tian Wen’s cache near the Warehouses
Tian Wen’s cache is hidden near the row of old warehouses west of the outpost. Head toward the cluster of shipping containers by the loading cranes, and check the ground level for a half-buried crate marked with faded tags. Enemies patrol the area, so clear them first or move carefully along the outer walls. The cache is located behind a stack of metal debris beside a small generator, and opening it completes this stage of the quest.
To find the cache, don’t go inside the warehouse buildings; instead, march over to the western side of the main building. Follow the outer wall northwest, and you’ll spot a rusty crate. Refer to the map image above for the exact location. As you approach, you’ll see a yellow interact prompt that reads ‘Investigate’.
Follow the clues
Follow Tian Wen’s trail by examining the hidden messages scattered across the ruins east of the Arcport. Each data fragment points toward the next location, with coordinates embedded in coded transmissions. Use your scanner to trace the faint energy signal left behind by Wen’s cache and intercept enemy patrols guarding the perimeter. The clues become clearer as you synchronize the recovered logs, narrowing the search to a storage bay beneath a collapsed comms tower.
Although the objective mentions clues, there is, in fact, only one task here. From the crate, look west and you’ll spot a cluster of low trees just ahead. Go inside and to the center of the clump, where you’ll find a slab of metal poking out of the ground. Approach and ‘Inspect’ it per the yellow prompt that pops up.
