In Where Winds Meet, currencies fuel your martial arts mastery-from Silver fueling gear upgrades to elusive Jade fueling rare pursuits. Master them, or watch your hero falter.
Where Winds Meet currencies explained
Where Winds Meet uses several currencies that serve different roles in upgrading gear, trading, and obtaining rare materials. Silver is the main currency earned through quests and combat, while Gold, often bought with real money, is used for premium items and customization. Martial Points reward skill growth and can be spent on combat improvements. Players may also encounter special event tokens or reputation coins tied to regional activities and limited-time challenges, adding variety to the game’s economic system.
So far, there are a total of 14 different currencies in Where Winds Meet (or at least that’s how many we’ve come across so far). Which currencies are best to farm first for progression
For early progression in Where Winds Meet, prioritize farming Tong Bao and Moyu first, as they enable core gear upgrades, skill enhancements, and merchant purchases essential for powering through main quests and bosses. These common currencies drop reliably from dailies, world bosses, and basic exploration without weekly caps blocking steady gains. Reputation follows closely to unlock faction vendors for better efficiency.
Daily Farming Routine
-
Complete daily quests and events for Tong Bao bursts, converting excess to Treasure Money at safe ratios.
-
Target world bosses and open-world mobs for Moyu, which directly boosts combat stats over cosmetics.
-
Build Reputation via faction tasks to access discounted upgrades.
Avoid Early Traps
Skip premium options like Echo Beads or Changming Pearls initially, as they focus on non-essential cosmetics rather than strength gains. Weekly currencies like Four Seas Letters can wait until mid-game when event access expands.
Which early currencies sell best on trade at league start
In Where Winds Meet, early trade markets at league start favor abundant, low-investment currencies that new players farm quickly from dailies and bosses, creating high demand for gear rushes. Tong Bao and Treasure Money sell best initially due to their volume from open-world activities and conversion utility for basic upgrades. Moyu follows as a strong secondary option for its direct combat value when others lack progression.
Top Trade Picks
-
Tong Bao: Bulk sells fast to alts buying starter weapons; prices peak day 1-2 before flooding.
-
Treasure Money: Converts easily, demanded for Ghost Market flips; steady value without weekly limits.
-
Moyu: Premium for skill books; scarcity drives 2-3x markup early.
Trading Tips
Focus player markets over NPC vendors, listing in small stacks (1k-5k) to flip before mid-league saturation. Avoid premium Echo Beads, as they hold poor resale until cosmetics meta emerges. Reputation boosts trade access but farms slower for pure profit.
