The BBC Dracula will be released in New Year

The miniseries, created by those responsible for Sherlock, will adapt to the classic Bram Stoker under the promise that he will be faithful to the original story.

The new adaptation of Dracula, which will involve the creators of the contemporary series of Sherlock Holmes starring Benedict Cumberbatch, it already has a release date.

BBC reported that the miniseries written by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, will be released on January 1, just as part of the New Year.

The series, which will address the history of the Bram Stoker classic, will be composed of three episodes that will set its stage in the 19th century, under the promise that everything will be faithfully adapted. Hence, it will all begin with Jonathan Harker's visit to the Count's castle in Transylvania.

The announcement was accompanied by a short video.
