On September 19, 1991, the episode 'Dad is crazy' was broadcast (Stark Raving Dad), The Simpsons, this had the participation of Michael Jackson who gave his voice for one of the characters that appear in the chapter.

According to James L. Brooks, executive producer of the series, “It feels like the only option to take”, adding that Matt Groening and Al Jean agreed with the decision.

“This was an episode treasure,” says Brooks, adding that “there are a lot of memories attached to this, but this (the documentary) does not allow it to remain.”

In the episode, Michael Jackson gave the voice to Leon Kompowsky, who knows Homer in a mental health institution and claimed to be Michael Jackson.
