Joe sends a letter in French to Bolsonaro and makes fun of his son: 'Snack Ambassador'

The presenter Jô Soares is one of the most beloved names in Brazilian television. Away from the small screen since leaving Globo, the humorist surprised his fans when, on Monday, July 22, sent an open letter to the president of the republic, Jair Bolsonaro. The text was published by the newspaper Folha de São Paulo, where Jô has a famous column.

In a very humorous and ironic text, Jô Soares criticized the fact that the president wanted to appoint his own son, Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro, as Brazil's ambassador to the United States. According to Jair, your child has all the necessary requirements to be an ambassador. Among them, Eduardo would speak English and already “fried hamburger” in the land of Donald Trump.

Jô, who is polyglot, wrote a text that brings together parts of sentences in Portuguese and other parts in French. The joke was done because, unlike Bolsonaro said, the language used by ambassadors is not necessarily English. The universal language for this type of position is actually French, although most ambassadors today also speak English.. “If we already have a former FHC president, why not a KFC ambassador?”, said the comedian.

Jo Soares also mentioned in his text the dictator Jacinto B. Peynado, who appointed his four-year-old son to the post of colonel of the Dominican Army. Following, the former host of Rede Globo suggested that Eduardo take a postgraduate degree in “cheesburguer” as he has experience in frying hamburger.

Remember that, despite the fact that “frying hamburger” has reverberated, the diner that Eduardo says worked, does not actually offer this type of food on its menu.
