Game of Thrones showrunners are downloaded from Comic-Con

The Comic-Con of San Diego will count the night of this Friday with a panel focused on game of Thrones and, according to what was originally stipulated, the event would be the first public appearance of the showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss after the end of the series.

However, through a publication of the official account of the series on Twitter, HBO reported that both creators will be absent. Nor will director Miguel Sapochnik and actors Iain Glen and Nathalie Emmanuel.

The panel will now only feature Jacob Anderson (Gray Worm), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Conleth Hill (Varys) and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark).

In the case of Sapochnik, his absence is attributed to his responsibilities in the post-production of his science fiction movie called BIOS. Meanwhile, Emmanuel is filming “Fast and Furious 9”, while Glen does the same with a comedy called “The Racer.” However, the cause for which Benioff and Weiss got off is unknown.

But whatever the cause, it can not be ruled out that public criticism of his work in the last season outlined a complicated environment before fans who will surely want explanations at the event.
