O BTS has just hit another record with “Boy With Luv,” the clip from the partnership with Halsey has just beat the fastest clip record to reach the 100 million mark on YouTube. Earlier the record belonged to the BlackPink group that recently broke it all down with the “Kill This Love” video, which with a week of release is already with 182 million views on YouTube.
With “Kill This Love”, the BlackPink beat the most-watched video clip in the first 24 hours that previously belonged to Ariana Grande's “Thank you, next” clip that had hit 55.4 million views in the first 24 hours. “Kill This Love” hit 56.7 million views in the first, so the BTS now set the record for the first 24 hours with 78 million views.
The clip of “Boy With Luv” was released last Friday (12) and this Saturday afternoon (13) it regained the fastest record clip reaching the 100 million view mark. This record was previously owned by BlackPink's “Kill This Love” which arrived in two days, 14 hours and 15 minutes, “Boy With Luv” took only 1 day, 13 hours and 13 minutes.
Before the BTS had already achieved the most viewed clip record in the first 24 hours, but lost to Ariana Grande.
