Band bets on cinema classics, from “E.T.” to “50 Shades of Gray”

THE Band exhibits this Wednesday (17), in the “Cine Clube”, the classic “E.T. – The Extraterrestrial (1982), by Steven Spielberg. The Oscar nominee for “Best Picture” is included in the package of feature films recently acquired by the broadcaster, for tracks such as “Cine Band Classics”. This blog from RD1 has uniquely obtained the list of films scheduled for the coming weeks, with “50 Shades of Gray.”

The “Cine Clube”, in the air every Wednesday at 10 pm, will have, still in July, “Babe, the muddy pig” (1995) and “Bridget Jones's diary” (2001) – days 24 and 31.

In August, “Meeting Marked” (1998), starring Brad Pitt (day 7); “A Place Called Notting Hill” (1999), with Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts (day 14); the successful “50 Tons de Cinza” (2015), the first film of the franchise (day 21); and “Ressaca de Amor”, 2008 (day 28).

For September, “Very Well Accompanied”, from 2004 (day 4), and “Wimbledon – The game of the love” of 2003, with Kirsten Dunst (day 11) are predicted.

The “Cine Band Classics” session will next Sunday (21) the film “In Some Place of the Past” (1980), with Christopher Reeve; next week (28), “The Little Girl Who Came Down From Heaven” (1980). “Summer Madness” (1973), with Harrison Ford, occupies the track on the 4th.

Still “Psycho” (1960), one of Alfred Hitchcock's most celebrated suspensions, on August 11. And “Back to the Future” (1985) hit the “Afternoon Session” with Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox on August 25.
